Driving east across Vermont, we stopped in Woodstock to tour the Billings Farm and do some hiking at Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park. After driving north to Burlington, we visited the Waterfront Park on the shore of Lake Champlain. The next morning, we toured the Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory, visited the Vermont State House in Montpelier, and stopped at Molly's Falls Pond State Park where we saw some great fall colors.
