2016 April

In the Alabama panhandle we drove through Mobile and saw the USS Alabama Battleship. Heading north, we drove to Montgomery where we saw the Alabama State Capitol and toured the First White House of the Confederacy. We also enjoyed some pecans from Priester’s Pecans.

After Montgomery, we drove east to Tuskegee where we toured the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site and the Tuskegee Institute National Historic Site. From Tuskegee, we continued north to Horseshoe Bend National Military Park where we drove the scenic loop.
