Was home to a large enslaved population that came from Mount Vernon to provide the existence that the Lee family knew. The memorial is located within Arlington National Cemetery.

A 20 foot statue of Franklin that resides within the Franklin Institute. Sculpted from 1906 to 1911, the statue weighs 30 tons and is seated on a 92-ton pedestal of white marble.
